Registration will start at 9:30 am. Music starts at 10:00. There will be a concert at 3:00 for parents, friends and family!
Young Musicians Day is a one-day music camp which gives an opportunity for instrumentalists at any playing level to have a fun day playing their instrument, learning some new music, playing in a larger ensemble and getting to know other girls.
We are looking for all 6th-8th grade GIRLS who play any instrument: Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass, Flute, Clarinet, Oboe, Bassoon, Saxophone, Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Euphonium, Percussion, Piano, Harp
You will get to work and play with the members of the Rosary Symphony Orchestra. They will mentor you for the day and play with you at the concert!
Bring your instrument, any accessories (reeds, straps, rosin, oil, etc.), a folding music stand and a great attitude. We`ll provide the rest!
You should wear comfortable but nice clothes (no jeans or sweats, please!) that you can rehearse in and also wear for the concert. You may also want to bring a sweater as some of the rooms are cooler than others.
The camp tuition is just $15. That covers the cost of all your music, refreshments and a pizza lunch.
